Where things stand. A ceasefire has held in part since 10 October 2025. Gaza’s health ministry, which operates under the de facto authorities, reports 1,334 people killed since then, to 2 September 2026. Most of Gaza’s 2.1 million people are approaching the rainy season in overcrowded displacement sites, and settler violence in the West Bank remains high, according to the UN (OCHA, 4 September 2026). - 1993

- 2026
- Reconstruction materials stay restricted, and settler violence in the West Bank is high.
